LifePoint Lodge Re-Cap

Lifepointaz   -

This past Sunday afternoon (9/12) was our very first LifePoint Lodge meeting. We had 38 boys show up ready to have fun. They learned how to cook pancakes, how to wash their hands, and how to open doors for others. We also had a great time arm-wrestling each other and engaged in a tug-of-war on the grass. Most importantly, boys learned what it means to be a man after God’s own heart!

Currently, we are in an adventure series called “The Wisdom of A King” as we continue to learn about Bible heroes such as King David and others.

We have exciting activities planned for the next 12 weeks, including some special visitors such Rural Metro Fire Department. Over the next few months, Lodge boys will learn about basic hand tools, changing bike tires, preparing a basic meal, and other hands-on activities. Each meeting, the boys will participate in Bible devotions with the emphasis on the practical application of God’s Word to their lives.

The heart of LifePoint Lodge is to grow and strengthen the faith of the boys in our church. Our desire is to see these boys rooted firmly like trees planted by deep waters; living out their faith in all areas of their lives.

Last but not least, thank you to the men who volunteer their time and service at LifePoint Lodge. We are excited to see the great things the Lord will do in our lives.
