Church Picnic & Bike Blessing Recap
Our annual picnic and bike blessing was a huge success! We had a great time serving free food, having games, raffle contests, a snow cone truck with Desert Relief, a bike show, and more. You can find a quick recap video of the event on our Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok.
This event could not have been a success without our amazing volunteers. For the Bike Blessing, a big thanks to Black Sheep for organizing the event, it was great to partner with you.
For the picnic- a huge thanks go to Sharon and Jenna for organizing and executing the picnic. There is a lot of planning that happens weeks in advance in order for things to go smoothly.
We had approximately 40 volunteers helping do a variety of jobs to help make the picnic a success.
We want to thank the many volunteers for all their hard work, from setting up tables and chairs, cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs, serving over 300 people who came through the food line, and cleaning up after the event. It takes many hands to make the picnic a success and we appreciate all the volunteers.
A huge thanks to Chris and Justin for working hard grilling on a hot day so that everyone could have hamburgers and hot dogs! Thank you!!!
