Mentorship update
As church leadership, we know discipleship is important, and yet it is often hard to quantify. It is easy to accumulate numbers on salvations and baptisms but often difficult to assess the level of discipleship that is happening at a church.
Also, it can be hard to find a mentor. You have to put yourself out there, sometimes not knowing who to ask or where to start.
Thankfully, since rolling out our new mentorship program a couple of months ago, we have seen amazing fruit from it. Almost 50 men and women have signed up and have gone through or are going through the program! This is amazing and a huge praise report!
The material we are using was presented to us by our faithful congregant Linda, and it has been a huge blessing. The material is easy to follow through the 4 week mentorship and yet is extremely important in building your foundation as a Christian or reassessing your foundation. We have heard many testimonies of how powerful this time was of not just reading the material, but walking through it with a mentor. We believe the Holy Spirit is using this program to grow disciples who will go and serve our community with the love of Jesus Christ.
