Blood Drive at LifePoint Church
Great way to love our community – PLEASE sign up!
Blood supplies are especially low right now so LifePoint is partnering with Vitalant for a Blood Drive.
Giving Blood Is Safe. Healthy Donors Needed. What’s not safe? Not having enough blood. If you’re healthy and eligible, we need your help today to keep the blood supply strong for patients undergoing surgery and cancer treatment, giving birth or suffering traumatic injuries. With your generous blood donations, Vitalant supplies Banner Ironwood, Banner Casa Grande, Phoenix VA and over 60 Arizona hospitals. SCHEDULE NOW! (Use Sponsor Code: LifePointAZ) or call 1-877-25-Vital to reserve donation time or ask donor eligibility questions.
Can’t donate blood…come anyways! We are also partnering with Donate Life (organ donation registration), Be The Match (bone marrow donor registration) and the Attorney General (Advanced Directives & End of Life Planning) to create even more lifesaving opportunities. Everyone can participate!!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed guidance for limiting gatherings of 10+ people, but that does not include blood drives. Blood drives, which represent more than 60% of the nation’s blood supply are now considered critical care events. Please watch this video from the CDC.
Vitalant and other blood banks follow FDA-regulated procedures and our staff adhere to rigorous safety and disinfection protocols. At this time, we ask that only donors enter the building. Donor temperature will be taken upon arrival and again in your health history. Vitalant Staff will sign each donor in. Please complete your Fast Track/health history online at vitalant.org/health. Print your code at the end of your Fast Track or save on your phone so staff can scan your information. The drive set up and staff will be physically distanced.
Blood banks have always required donors to be in good health to give blood to keep both donors and patients safe. Vitalant is absolutely committed to safety for patients, donors, and our communities. Learn more about Vitalant’s response to coronavirus.
