Community Partnership

Hunger is a real struggle for many American families. According to Feeding America, one in seven people in Arizona is struggling with hunger, one in four children are struggling, and there about a million people in Arizona alone struggling. There is a fellowship of churches here in our area who band together in helping as God has called and equipped. Two churches, Amadeo Church and Christ the Victor Lutheran Church have established food banks with the ability to feed many families from Queen Creek to Florence. Amadeo operates what they have called Re:Store from a storefront in the same plaza in Queen Creek where their church...

Bright orange vests and cool runway style flashlights!

Good day fellow LifePointers! It is I, your fearless Shepherd Nathan Bentley calling out with my 2018 Shofar, email, to ask you to partner with us this Christmas Eve and help in an area that is so important yet has few, if no volunteers. The parking lot ministry. We need people in bright orange vests and cool runway style flashlights to direct traffic, wave and smile as newcomers make their way to our property this Christmas Eve. It is so vitally important that the hundreds of new people attending feel welcomed and directed where to go from the moment they drive onto our campus. if it has...

Serving with Arizona Reservation Ministries

A few times a year men from LifePoint gather early on a Saturday morning to drive North one hour to the San Carlos Indian Reservation. The men serve a single-day mission with The Arizona Reservation Ministries (A.R.M.). It’s wonderful to be able to serve with our partners so close to our homes. A.R.M. partners with San Carlos Apache Indians in need of homes and basic resources. (For more information about A.R.M. please visit their website azrez.org) The LifePoint men help provide a number of construction-related services for A.R.M. In the past, the groups have ranged in size from 5 to 30 men. They have assisted in a...

Ministry in the White Mountains

Arizona Reservation Ministries (A.R.M.) began as a vision in the late 90s, as Dale Lawrence listened to God’s call to work with the Navajo and Apache Indians in the White Mountains of Arizona. A.R.M. officially came into existence in 2002. A.R.M. currently works with over 950 children and teens.  The following statistics were obtained through various sources, including but not limited to 2010 US Census and Northern Arizona University: The median age on the San Carlos Apache Reservation is 27 years. Those living elsewhere in the State of Arizona have a median age of 35-48 years. More than 50% of the San Carlos Apache Reservation is...

Wonderful Generosity

Every Christmas season there naturally comes about a heart to give generously. Giving comes in all sorts of ways from time, resources or money. And there are so many wonderful organizations to give to locally and globally. That heart to give also includes your own immediate family. You have a desire to give gifts to your children, your parents, grandparents or close friends who are basically like family. You also may know that one of the hardest things to experience is when the desire is there but the means isn’t. It hurts as a parent to not be able to provide any type of Christmas for your children,...

Giving Tree

Each year LifePoint Church spends November and December giving back to the community through The Big Give. One of our biggest events is the Giving Tree. This special tree highlights a ministry in our church or the local community that goes above and beyond for children in our area. This year the Missions Leadership Team has chosen to bless local Foster and Adoptive families! As a church the mission work these families do is recognized as being absolutely priceless to the children they serve. We are honored to give back in such a way as to provide a few Christmas gifts to all of the children in the family. Foster care and adoption are a family ministry...

LAST CALL

LAST CALL!!! Volunteers still needed for this Friday’s Drive-In Movie Night. This is one of the best opportunities to really engage with our community and serve in a big way. It’s our biggest outreach event that sees new families who may have never been to church before or maybe it’s been a while since they have stepped foot inside a church. You will get to show them love and kindness all throughout the night. Not only is it a great opportunity to serve, but it is also by far one of the most fun nights of the year!!! Kids get to make their own cars while...
