I’ve had the honor of being Executive Pastor here at LifePoint for five months now and I am extremely excited for what’s to come. As a church, we are able to be in a position of strength going into the rest of the year with the focus on continuing the mission God has given us. We have some exciting things in the works for not only upgrades to our campus but also possible expansion and strategic partnerships.
God has blessed us immensely, especially coming out of a year like 2020 which was difficult on both businesses and individuals alike. We could only be doing what we are doing this year because of your faithful response to God by giving to LifePoint. We, as a church, continue to give above and beyond 10 percent of our finances to outreach both locally and abroad. It is my responsibility as Executive Pastor to make sure that we are being good stewards as a church with all money that comes in, which means I am constantly comparing our reports to the budget and getting rid of unnecessary expenses.
With that said, I would like to remind you that we usually see a dip in giving during the summer for various reasons. Our offerings received so far for Jan-April this year were 345K on a budget of 366K. Please be in prayer of how you can continue to support the work we are doing at LifePoint so that we can come out of the summer strong and ready to take on the fall when we increase our activities again. If there’s ever an additional offering you would like put towards a particular ministry or project we are working on please let me or Pastor Nathan know.
Thank you again for your continued faithfulness and I’m excited to see what God has in store for LifePoint in the rest of 2021!
