Hope Women’s Center

Hope Women’s Center is a Christian non-profit organization that provides vulnerable women and teen girls with education, mentoring, and support. We engage, encourage, and equip our clients by providing support for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to challenge women to promote healthy relationships, to bring healing and wholeness to traumatized lives, and to help women discover their true value and worth.

There has been tremendous growth at our center since we first opened our doors in July of 2013. We are seeing lives being transformed! So far this year we have seen 132 women with a program participation of 4666! Through our faith based classes our ladies are understanding their value and worth and what it means to love your neighbor. In our life skills classes they are learning skills to better help them to provide for their families. Our Gardening Class teaches them how to grow food in their own backyards. The Sewing and Crochet Classes help them develop skills to make items for themselves and their children. Our Anger Management, Domestic Violence, and Parenting Classes help them identify and understand current cycles and how to move forward in a way to develop a safe, thriving environment for their family. Recovery classes and support groups help to break the grip of whatever is keeping them from moving forward in their own lives. Our One on One Mentoring is all about the client! Mentoring is a time of healing and encouragement to help women move forward with a new understanding of who they are and what they can accomplish.

When women attend our classes or mentoring sessions at Hope Women’s Center they earn what we call client points. With their points they are able to go into our Boutique and purchase items for themselves and their family. Because everything is free to the ladies that come to Hope Women’s Center, we rely on churches, businesses, organizations and individuals who believe in our mission and vision for financial support and the items we stock in our Boutique. LifePoint is an amazing partner! Their hearts to serve the local community and all of the many volunteers who give of their time is how we can continue to do what the Lord is calling us to do!

Hope Women’s Center is located at 850 N California Street and the hours are Tuesdays 9am to 7pm and Wednesdays & Thursdays 9am to 2pm.
