Jehovah Jireh – The Lord Provides

The Lord, our God, has many names, but none so fitting as this one to our current ministry. Since COVID began in 2020, we have been blessed by all the donors that continually live by God’s direction, giving of themselves.
On Thursday, June 24th, we received a text message from Mike Lancaster at the Walmart, Neighborhood Market in Gilbert. He had 2 pallets worth of Antibacterial wipes, sanitizer, and soaps that needed to find a new home. What excitement this created in our home as we have at least 5 different missions partners that can benefit from such a donation!
Here is what we received and where it went.

  • Youth Haven, located in Eloy, helps underprivileged youth by providing church camp experiences throughout the year. They received 5 boxes of hand sanitizing wipes (36 ct. Per box), 7 boxes of the Antibacterial wipes (80 wipes per pack, 12 packs per box).
  • Genesis Project, located in Apache Junction, helps provide meals and basic necessities to the homeless population in the Valley. They received 5 boxes of hand sanitizing wipes and 3 boxes of Antibacterial wipes.
  • UMOM, located in Phoenix, helps homeless teens finish their education and go on to find gainful employment. They received 5 boxes of hand sanitizing wipes and 7 boxes of Antibacterial wipes.
  • Hope Women’s Center, located in Coolidge, helps the local community by providing services to women in need of assistance. They provide various classes, education, and assistance. They received 5 boxes of hand sanitizing wipes and 7 boxes of Antibacterial wipes.
  • Arizona Reservation Ministries, our partners on the San Carlos Indian Reservation, provides any and all assistance to our sisters and brothers-in-Christ. They received the largest donations as the Reservation is home to over 10,000 Native Americans. They received giant 2 boxes of mixed Antibacterial hand soap, 11 boxes of hand sanitizing wipes, and at least 16 boxes of Antibacterial wipes.

We want to thank Mike Lancaster, again, for being so gracious and donating these things to our partners. We would not be able to bless them in this manner without your help!
