Maintenance Made Wholly

Lifepointaz   -

What is your reaction when your vehicle needs major maintenance? New brakes, tires, battery, belts, you name it and your mechanic has probably put it on the list. I believe I am accurate in saying your first thought is cost and your first feelings are probably frustration and annoyance. It takes a while to get to the place where you realize maintaining your vehicle will ultimately keep you and others safe on the road and your car lasting a long time. At some point you even start to debate whether or not it’s worth it…should I pay for this repair or just send it to the junkyard? Honestly, who cares, it’s a car (I apologize to all you car people I just offended).

What is your reaction when close relationships in your life need maintenance? You have been lied to, talked about, rejected, cut off, used, you name it and it has happened to you. Maybe I’m accurate in saying your first thought is why and your first feelings are hurt and pain. At first, you ponder whether or not it’s worth it, to keep this relationship. At some point though, you realize that maintaining and repairing these relationships will produce long-lasting and healthy bonds that ultimately will honor and glorify God. Honestly, who cares, well Jesus does and He cares about it deeply.

I hope you join us this Sunday as we take a look at relationship maintenance.

Blessings,

Pastor Blake
