Our goal for couples is for them to grow together in their walk with God, connect with other couples, to build relationships, to mobilize and become mission-minded in our effort to further advance the Kingdom of God. Marriage is a beautiful thing but it’s important to be challenged as couples in our faith walk to better understand what it means to have a covenant marriage that honors and glorifies God in today’s world.
LifePoint offers a variety of connection opportunities for couples here on campus. There are opportunities to serve, go on mission trips, join a Lifegroup as well as to have a little fun at one of the many events we do throughout the year! In addition, there are resources to help every couple to grow in their marriage and strengthen the bond between husband and wife. Couples Prayer Journey – There is Power when couples are praying FOR and WITH each other.
Each month spouses will commit to praying FOR and WITH each other.
To keep it simple one topic per month we will be introduced. February we will be praying for our own hearts and minds towards our spouse
The goal is to pray FOR your spouse, then come together and pray WITH your spouse.
Resources to follow along are the books ‘Power of a Praying Husband’ and Power of a Praying Wife’ by Stormie Omartian. These two books will transform how you pray for your spouse. Both can be found on Amazon.
