Mission Sunday

Every 5th Sunday of the month is considered Mission Sunday. What this means is that on those Sundays the tithing & offering leftover after the normal upkeep, utilities, missions, etc., goes directly to one of our missions. This can be in the form of an additional gift or even towards a special project.

This last Sunday, May 30th, was a Mission Sunday and our congregation was so generous with tithing and offering that we were able to bless the LifePoint Mexico Mission team with 250 Bibles to pass out while in Mexico this Fall. The team is traveling in September to help celebrate the children and teach them about Jesus’ love for them. They will visit local migrant communities in the Vicente Guerrero, BC., area, washing the feet of sweet children and blessing them with a new pair of My360 shoes.

The team’s goal is to bless 250 children with a new pair of My360 shoes, a new pair of clean socks, and a New Testament Bible in Spanish. They are so happy to see the goal of the Bibles completed. They appreciate you all so much in helping them accomplish this! Thank you!

The My360 shoes are specially designed to grow with the children for up to 2 years! To learn more about the My360 shoes, please visit:

The Mexico Team is also hosting an Artmox Open House Fundraiser where families can come decorate a blank canvas My360 pair of shoes for the children in Vicente Guerrero. For more information on this, be watching for announcements in church and on Facebook.  The event is on July 10th and will be on the app.

If you would like to help financially support the Mexico Team, please visit the LifePoint “Give” tab, and choose “Gen Donation for Mexico Trip Sept. 2021” in the funds section. The funds will be split between the team members, or you can choose a team member that you know personally.

And most importantly, the team needs prayer! The best way to get updates is by following the LifePoint Missions Facebook page. Search @lifepointmissions in your Facebook search bar. If you would like a specialized prayer list, please reach out to Missions@lifepointaz.com and request one.
