Kicking and Screaming!

A new chapter is being written through the LifePoint Church Global Outreach Missions Ministry. Recently, God has called four different women from our church to serve Him in the country of Haiti. In 2018, Becky Haas, Casey Kakar both RN’s and serving as fulltime healthcare professionals. Veronica Thiele a school teacher and Rebecca Rivers, a College student have all answered the call to serve in Haiti. Rebecca is scheduled to be an intern with Haitian Christian Outreach this summer for two months and Becky is returning in April of this year. It all started for me and for my wife Susie in 1988, the year we...

Marriage Mentoring

The marriage mentoring team has completed their training! This has been a vision of LifePoint’s marriage leadership team for awhile now and it’s amazing to see it coming to fruition. God has big plans to strengthen marriages into that covenant bond we so much desire with our spouse. Marriage mentoring isn’t just for couples who are struggling, but for newlyweds looking to start strong and build a solid foundation, and for couples looking to go from a good marriage to a great one. We will follow biblically based principles and use materials that have been proven to be effective in helping create and sustain a healthy...

Putting Feet to the Gospel

After listening to Pastor Nathan this past Sunday as he shared his vision for Life Point Church, I was reminded what the Bible says in Romans 10:1415 were Paul said “how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? How can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? How will anyone go and tell them without being sent? The Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news”! Jonah chapter three is about a reluctant prophet proclaiming the word that the Lord gave...

An Inspirational Story To Help You To Listen To God and, GO!

An Inspirational Story To Help You To Listen To God and, GO! Here is a story to help inspire you to listen to God’s promptings and GO to volunteer and help others. It’s a longer story, so hang in there and read it all. Especially if you are one who might say, “I have no skills to help anyone else, I don’t know what I could ever do for Him.” Let’s See What You Can Do “I carried a registration packet stamped ‘P.E. Exempt’ as I hobbled with a locked-knee gait to the field house of Eastern Washington State College.  I little over a year earlier, I was...

Join the Worship Team!

John 4:23But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. Are you a worshipper?  Is God calling you to step out in faith and serve Him?  Take a moment and ask yourself that question. The Worship Team at its core is a group of people who desire to serve the Lord and praise His name by leading others in worship when we gather together in His name. We are seeking those who have a heart to serve.  Our ministry is expanding, and there are spots...

Daughter’s of the King Ladies Tea

The Daughter’s of the King Ladies Tea was hosted by Women of Life on Saturday, February 9th. This amazing event was attended by almost 200 moms, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, and friends of all ages. This annual event is a great way to fellowship with other LifePoint ladies but also brings in many people from the community who may not be saved. Ladies enjoyed an amazing time of tea and fellowship. The worship time was Spirit-led and brought much-needed refreshment to the soul. There was lots of fun as prizes were awarded and money was raised for the women’s retreat scholarship fund.  The highlight of the day...

All Youth Worship Night

All Youth Worship Night happened again this year and was a great night of “The Church” youth coming together and praising Jesus. Six church youth groups from our community got together at LifePoint with over 200 youth gathered. They came to raise up the name of Jesus while the message inspired them to Ignite the Fire inside of themselves. To live boldly for their Lord. To go into their homes, community & schools with the word of God. Not to be ashamed of Jesus but to boldly proclaim His name. 2911 Church led the high energy worship which including one song, In God We Trust, from...

Spring LifeGroups are right around the corner

Spring LifeGroup season is upon us. This is such a great way to get connected with other people in the church. It is a time to fellowship all while growing spiritually in your walk with Jesus Christ. Being able to do life with other believers is crucial in helping us to stay on a straight path. This Spring we will be offering five different groups including men’s, women’s, marriage, single and parenting, and divorce care. The 10 week series begins on Thursday February 28th from 630-830pm right here at the church.
