San Carlos Men’s Mission 2020

For the last 3 years that I, Evan Thiele, have served alongside Arizona Reservation Ministries, I have not seen a more joyful group join as the 20 men that served with me last Saturday. This was, by far, the largest men’s only group I’ve taken to San Carlos.

The prayer journey was the biggest factor in motivating the guys to work harder on the Sunday School Building for Miracle Church.

Diana, from A.R.M. says, “As 2020 begins, we are excited to watch as service in the past is leading to amazing things in the New Year!

We completed a home for Prospero and Roxie C. in November of 2019.  Their lives had profoundly changed as they watched God provide such a critical gift for their family!  On Monday, January 13th, 2020, they handed in their applications to join the ARM team permanently!  Pros work with our Construction projects (the men met him, either as they worked on his home previously, or this past Saturday as they all worked on the Sunday School renovations at an Apache-led, Bible-based church!).

Through the partnerships we have with several Bible-based, Apache-led churches on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, our plans for 2020 include building restrooms, Sunday School rooms, a kitchen and meeting area at the American Indian Church.  We are currently renovating an old Sunday School building at the Miracle Church.  As these projects (AND the completion of a home for the Johnson family-who are home-less), Lord willing, we’ll begin to construct a church sanctuary for brother Ralph Holmes.  That church is called Preach the Word Ministries.

We continue to thank God for our faithful friends at LifePoint Church, and the many arms they have provided to make both tangible projects possible and spiritual blessings as well!”

It has been a blessing serving the people of San Carlos Indian Reservation, and I look forward to going again in April this year. For more information on San Carlos Indian Reservation, please visit azrez.org or email Evan Thiele at Missions@lifepointaz.com
