Leaders in Local Ministry

Lifepointaz   -

The LifePoint Family,

This Sunday will mark the end of our season of fasting, I hope it was as freeing and insightful for you, as it was for me. One of the things I always remind myself at the end of a fasting time is, ‘although the season of fasting may be over, the lessons learned and healthy habits should not end.’ One of the hopes of your pastoral staff would be that this would kickstart in you a lifestyle where you incorporate fasting into your walk with Christ. Every single one of us needs the wisdom and truth offered by the Holy Spirit, as I trust you found during this time, fasting is like a direct line to God. When it feels like life is overwhelming you, or you just don’t hear God, ask God to uphold you in a fast that you might move forward in His wisdom.

This Sunday I will be introducing and interviewing many of our local missions’ partners as well as speaking on taking the concept of disciples serve and lead and giving practical applications for us all to get more involved in our local communities.

I am beyond grateful to head into another year with all of you and am blessed every day by those who God has called to this church. I believe with everything in me, that this year is going to mark a significant change in the southeast valley, and we are going to see God move mountains and many, many people come to the Lord.

Peace,

Nathan Bentley
