Light & the Nature of Sin
What is sin? What exactly are we being held accountable for? What about those who have never heard of Jesus and the 10 Commandments? What about sins I commit after committing to following Jesus? Am I really condemned to hell for not following a Jewish man’s claim of being God?
These questions and many more have probably crossed your mind more than once. These questions need answers, and ignoring them or brushing them off will only serve to lead to more confusion in your life when the storms come and the cracks start to show.
This week we are going to look at John’s speech on light and darkness, sin and obedience, and love vs. hatred. Please take the time to read 1 John 1:5 – 2:11.
