Freedom in Christ
My name is Ryan Kurtz. I am the Arizona State Director for Freedom in Christ Ministries. The mission of Freedom in Christ Ministries is to equip every believer to live a free and fruitful life in Christ. What does that mean exactly? Well, that means our goal is to educate believers in Christ to know and believe who they are and what it means to be His child and disciple. Also, when to apply the truth of scripture, where it is found in the Bible, and why it’s important. Application of scripture and truth in one’s life is also essential. This is the discipling part to lead you to the Steps to Freedom in Christ and beyond.
“What are the Steps to Freedom in Christ?” you ask. It is a process by which we are to, as James 4:7 says, “Submit to God, resist the devil and He will flee from you”. Obviously, we expand on this and there are 7 steps in the process. It is led by a trained encourager with a prayer partner and is a confidential environment to help you break through personal and spiritual conflicts and strongholds. These are the things that keep us all from growing into spiritually mature individuals. Through the classes, materials and employing the tools taught, one can walk with Christ and be free of the “sin that so easily entangles.”
My personal role is to foster an environment for our ministry to grow throughout Arizona. By engaging with churches and helping them develop this ministry in their own congregation and context.
