My experience at Women af the Word has been an incredible one. I’ve been part of of since 2017. I was hesitant to join because fellowshipping with other women was out of my comfort zone. At the same time, I was committed to grow in my relationship with the Lord and we know we cannot do that apart from fellowship with the body of Christ (1 John 1:7). I have been inspired and have been learning so much by the example of godly women, including our mentor moms. I have the privilege to serve and see each lady come in through the doors ready to worship. I love the fact that we get to encourage and pray for one another as we live life. We grow in wisdom and exercise the fruit of the Spirit in community, that is part of what loving Jesus and loving people is (Mat. 22:37, 39)- Josie Garrido
