Annual Community Picnic Recap
We are excited to share with you the amazing success of our annual community picnic. Despite the breezy weather, we were thrilled to see so many neighbors from our community come out to join us in the fun.
We were delighted to have the local Fire Station and their Fire Truck join us for the day, adding to the excitement and community spirit of the event. Our attendees enjoyed a range of activities, including a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, football toss with prizes, and a snow cone truck.
Of course, no picnic is complete without delicious food and dessert, and we were proud to have our congregants provide a spread of free food, sides, and desserts for everyone to enjoy. A live DJ kept everyone entertained throughout the day, providing the perfect background music to this exciting event. A big thank you to DJ M-Cat for playing at the picnic once again!
We are also pleased to announce that we raised over $300 for Youth Camp scholarships with our Pie-A-Pastor activity. We appreciate the generosity of our attendees and their willingness to support our cause. A shout out and a thank you to our Pastors for being such good sports in support of summer youth camps!
None of this would have been possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers. We are grateful to everyone who gave their time and effort to make this event a resounding success.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the community picnic. We look forward to seeing you at our next community event! On April 16th, at our Shred-A-Thon, invite a neighbor!
