Indopartners Update
Indopartners is focused on reaching the unreached people of Indonesia for Christ through digital evangelism and discipleship. We share the gospel through hundreds of online articles and videos posted on websites, YouTube, and other social media channels. The goal is to give every Indonesian the opportunity to hear the gospel and find those who want to go deeper.
This is what Guide and our partners have accomplished so far this year:
- Over 22 million video views
- People have engaged with articles and videos for 360,000 hours (41 years)
- More than 50,000 people have sent us a message
- 344 have agreed to meet to learn more about Jesus
- At least 92 people have professed faith in Christ
One testimony: Khoirul struggled with the fear of not knowing his eternal destiny and was looking for peace. Our Indonesian staff shared how relying on our good deeds will never bring hope or peace. Only Jesus is the sure path to salvation because He sacrificed Himself to reconcile us. After studying about Jesus with a Christian field worker for a few weeks, Khoirul placed his faith in Christ in May! He is now being discipled.
Prayer requests:
- Pray that Khoirul and other Indonesians who are seeking the truth will be connected with local Christians who will help them find hope in Jesus and be discipled so they can grow in their faith.
- We’re launching a new digital ministry within Indonesia to both reach people from the majority religion as well as strengthen the faith of Christians. We plan to target geographic areas often neglected by other media efforts. More ministries like this are needed because younger Christians are increasingly abandoning their faith. Pray as we launch this new ministry this fall.
- Please pray for continual wisdom and creativity in reaching the younger generation with the gospel. Many of the seekers we speak with are over the age of 40, but we also desire to reach the future leaders of the country.
