The Love of a King
My kids cannot wait for Christmas morning and are bursting at the seams to be done with school and spend the next few days sleeping in, watching Christmas movies, and dreaming of what will be under the tree. It has been many, many years since I can remember this kind of excitement for Christmas morning, however, this year I do have a similar anticipation for this Sundays Christmas Eve services. At the two Sunday morning services I will be finishing the Advent series speaking on the perfect love of God. For the last three weeks I have been so excited to share this message with you. When we understand the love that God has for each one of us, it completely changes our lives.
With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, we were given hope, peace, joy, and a love like nothing the world had ever seen. For the Christmas Eve celebration services, I will be talking about the faith that is inspired through this life and what it looks like to be a believer in today’s world, along with an incredible presentation/drama candle lighting and Christmas songs.
