Christmas in Belize Recap
The Christmas in Belize Fundraiser through The Big Give 2023 efforts exceeded all expectations, achieving its $3,000 goal and more!!! The remote village of Gales Point Manatee experienced the love of Jesus as all 130 children received Christmas gifts. The festivities included a full meal and the village’s annual Christmas services, where the gospel message of Jesus’s birth was shared. The success extended beyond the initial fundraising efforts, as social media outreach led to a generous additional donation of $2,000 from one of Pastor Kenny’s partners. This extra contribution was earmarked for purchasing bicycles, benefiting every 7th and 8th graders in the village. These slightly used and refurbished bicycles will help get the students to and from the school bus stop, eliminating the challenge of a mile-long walk for some students. The overflow of compassion from LifePoint and its supporters has truly made a meaningful impact on the lives of these Belizean children, and was such a blessing to our mission partner, Pastor Kenny.
